KNP Land Management handles residential land clearing throughout Ringgold, Georgia and across our service area in North Georgia and Southern Tennessee. We bring the right equipment for the job and work efficiently to get your land cleared and ready for the next step.
Land clearing is the process of removing trees, brush, stumps, overgrowth, and debris from a piece of property so it can be used, developed, or maintained. Whether you have purchased raw land and need it cleared before building, have a pasture that has grown over and needs to be reclaimed, or need a lot cleaned up before site prep begins, land clearing is the first step.
Land clearing is not one-size-fits-all. The scope of the work depends on what is on the property and what you need it to look like when we leave. We handle:

In Georgia, there is a statewide burn ban that runs from approximately May through October. During this period, cleared debris must be hauled away rather than burned on site, which affects the overall cost of a clearing job. Outside of that window — particularly from October onward — we can burn debris on site, which significantly reduces clearing costs for larger properties. If you have flexibility on timing, this is worth considering when planning a clearing project.
Land clearing is most commonly needed by residential property owners who are preparing to build, who have purchased overgrown land and want it usable, or who have a pasture or field that has become overgrown over time. If your lot is covered in trees, brush, or years of growth, KNP Land Management can get it cleared and ready.
Land clearing is usually the first step in a larger project. After the land is cleared, most properties then move into site preparation, excavation and grading, and potentially driveway installation. If you are building on the land, you may also need water line installation or septic system work depending on your location. We can coordinate all of it.

If you are not sure whether we cover your area, just call or text. We are happy to let you know what we can do for you.
Land clearing costs vary based on the size of the property, the density of vegetation, the terrain, and whether debris can be burned or needs to be hauled. We do not give pricing without seeing the property first. Give us a call and we will come out and walk it with you.
A smaller residential lot might be cleared in a day. Larger or more heavily wooded properties can take several days. We will give you a realistic estimate of the timeline when we come out to assess the job.
It depends on the time of year and your preference. When Georgia’s burn ban is in effect (roughly May through October), debris must be hauled away. Outside of that window, we can burn on site when conditions allow, which is more cost-effective for larger jobs.
We take property lines seriously and work carefully around boundaries. Before any clearing begins, we establish where the work area is and make sure we stay within it.
Not necessarily. As long as we have clear access to the property and an understanding of what needs to be done, we can typically work without you being present. We will go over all of that during the estimate.
Yes. We work throughout our service area, including communities in Southern Tennessee north of Chattanooga, up through Pikeville.
