In Georgia, there is a statewide burn ban that runs from approximately May through October. During this period, cleared debris must be hauled away rather than burned on site, which affects the overall cost of a clearing job. Outside of that window — particularly from October onward — we can burn debris on site, which significantly reduces clearing costs for larger properties. If you have flexibility on timing, this is worth considering when planning a clearing project.
